Joost Taggenbrock

Joost has more than 25 years of experience as a leadership consultant. He is an expert in Leadership Development and Talent Management, and acts as a trusted strategic advisor to senior managers and executive boards.
Joost started his career in 1994 and worked at various international leadership consultancy firms (SHL, Corporate Executive Board, Gartner). He worked as a strategic advisor and gave shape and content to HR policy in the areas of Performance Management, Competence Management and Succession Planning. He designed and facilitated (international) Leadership Potential Audits and Leadership Development Programs and trained and guided leaders and leadership teams in strengthening their impact and performance.
Joost has extensive experience and a proven track record as a senior Business Leader; he navigated an international team of professionals through periods of change and transformation. He initiated and implemented an improvement process towards business, operational and customer excellence. His consultancy expertise in combination with his practical experience as a Business Leader results in a clear vision on leadership. Joost has intellectual curiosity, a passion and drive for excellence and a hands-on approach. He thoroughly examines personal and organizational issues, analyses the situation and offers new perspectives on the challenges facing individuals and organizations.
Joost has strong roots in science: he obtained a master's degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology (Utrecht University) in 1989 and was a PhD candidate at the Work & Organization Research Center (WORC - Tilburg University) for 4 years.
In July 2021, Joost joined Capita Selecta as Partner Leadership Advisory.
