Rein Sevenstern
Associate Partner - Executive Coach & Facilitator Leadership Development

Rein Sevenstern started his career back in the 90’ies at the Dutch consulate in New York City, where he promoted The Netherlands as an attractive location for foreign direct investment. He continued his career as a trusted advisor working with (Korn Ferry) Hay Group for over two decades. At this renowned and internationally operating Management Consultancy firm he was based in The Netherlands, Australia, and Belgium, with assignments in the US, UK, Russia, India, South and West Africa and all over (the rest of) Europe.

Next to his role as senior consultant, Rein was a managing member of the Hay Group European expertise team of Leadership & Talent Development. In this role, Rein was accountable for the development and accreditation of European consultants in Hay Group’s proprietary Leadership Assessment & Development methodologies, as well as the induction to Hay Group of newly hired consultants in the EMEA - region.

During an one year sabbatical in 2011, Rein volunteered with various organisations in India, Australia, and Mozambique. He experienced what it is like not to be able to rely on his learned expertise. Being out of his comfort zone like this, taught him the power of experience for learning and growth. Shortly after returning to Europe, Rein established himself as an independent Executive Coach and Leadership & Team facilitator, based in Amsterdam.

Rein is driven by the positive impact he can have on the leaders and organizations he works with. He makes people more confident and stronger in achieving their goals.

Rein holds an International Master of Business Administration from Nyenrode Business University. He is certified in executive coaching, DISC, Emotional & Social Competence Inventory and TeamRole Indexator. Rein feels most at home in the field of Leadership Acceleration in an international context, where the development of individuals and teams in a diverse cultural environment is central. He speaks fluent Dutch, English and French.
